Glaston will host its first Glaston Innovation Day from June 16 to June 18, 2021. This is a virtual customer event that showcases the latest innovations and trends in the fields of architecture, automotive and glass processing. In this event, Glaston's product and industry experts shared their insights on the latest developments in glass processing technology and showcased exciting new opportunities.
In the three-day virtual event, starting from Wednesday, June 16th, two meetings will be organized every day, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, so that participants from all over the world and all time zones can easily participate.
“As we all know, in the past year, the possibilities for face-to-face meetings and factory visits are very limited, and exhibitions have been postponed. In view of the current situation, Glaston Innovation Day is where we share new trend information with our customers and showcase our latest products and Service," said Anders Dahlblom, President and CEO of Glaston.
In Glaston's R&D work, projects and innovations related to higher levels of automation and the use of the possibilities offered by digitalization have always been at the core of development, and positive progress has been made. The pandemic has highlighted the importance of remote service and support. Last year, Glaston saw a growing demand for digital and cloud-based solutions.
The Architectural Glass Conference covered the industry-leading digital and automated development of flat tempering and lamination processes, as well as information about new insulating glass solutions, such as the new glass edge press MULTI'ARRISSER and CORNER'REFINER IG units for sealing. In addition, Glaston Services for Architectural Glass also provides service upgrade kits for insulating glass equipment and virtual engineers.
At the Automotive and Display Glass Conference, they shared their insights on the pretreatment of thin glass and demonstrated a new generation of automotive glass machines. The conference also introduced solutions for demanding curved glass applications such as complex windshields and skylights. Glaston's service experts introduced subscription-based services and virtual engineers. For display glass solutions, Glaston shares its expertise in the latest innovations and trends in display glass processing in various application fields.
